Foster's Group - Interactive Corporate Profile 2005 & 2006
With the acquisition of SouthCorp Wines in 2005, Foster’s Group increased its portfolio to some 20+ wineries including such noted brands as Seppelt, Rosemount Estate, Saltram Estate, Beringer Wines, Wolf Blass and Penfolds.
Foster’s Group approached Areeba in December 2005 to build an interactive Corporate Profile, designed to be delivered from custom made information kiosks stationed at Foster’s headquarters in Southbank, as well as the website.
The Interactive Corporate Profile is designed to be a concise and interactive version of the Annual Report. The brief from Foster’s was to make it compelling and interactive but also allow it to be easily updated from within Foster’s as the company portfolio of assets can constantly change.
Areeba developed the Corporate Profile using Flash with data provided in XML. It has been integrated with RedDot CMS to allow the content from within Flash to be easily edited using the XML editing capabilities of RedDot.
Features of the application include a timeline, interactive map of breweries and wineries and updatable graphs.
In November 2006, Areeba updated the profile again to its current status so that it reflected the updated branding of the print based Annual Report for 2006.
