Areeba designed and developed an integrated, web based solution with a CMS and customised administration to service Autobarn's national network of stores.
History
From humble beginnings in the early nineties with just a handful of Victorian stores, Autobarn has grown to become one of the shining lights in the Australian retail sector, with over 90 stores nationwide. Specialising in automotive accessories and products, and, with a commitment to providing top quality national brands at very competitive prices, Autobarn has achieved an outstanding market profile.
Challenge
Autobarn needed to improve communications across their network of franchises. With stores located across metropolitan and regional areas, and, with system users coming from a variety of backgrounds with differing computer skills, the solution needed to be easy to use, fast, secure and stable.
Solution
Areeba designed and built an integrated, web based intranet to service Autobarn's national network of stores. The solution focused on ease of use, consistency and clear representation of information, to allow the management of all marketing and promotional assets, internal reference lists, news, events calendars and the Autobarn Forums. The project involved design services, CMS integration and a customised intranet administration. Underpinning this is a SQL Server database to maintain content in a stable and secure environment. Management of access permissions for each user is afforded by the administration, offering specific content filtering based upon User ID and password protected authentication.
