Avanteos is an innovative creator of technology-enabled business solutions. As a leading supplier to the Australian financial services industry, Avanteos delivers world-class technology and reliable, quality solutions that can be customised to any business, its brand, and its customers.

February 2002 saw Avanteos approach Areeba to assist in redevelopment of the Avanteos Corporate website and extended branding material. The brief was the basis for a rebranding exercise aimed at more accurately reflecting the premier position of the business and the maturity of its products.

Emphasis was placed on ensuring the new style could be rolled out across other mediums. This encompassed design of advertising templates to be used in newspaper and magazines of varying formats and the design of a comprehensive marketing brochure.

Additionally, our design team were asked to design a trade show stand backdrop, using the corporate imagery reflected in the other marketing assets.

Several key issues were seen as paramount to Avanteos and it was Areeba's understanding of these that made the project such a success. As well as a branding refresh, the following were considered as equally important:

• Allowance of internal staff to update the site's content quickly and easily via a CMS.
• Incorporate the aesthetic qualities of Flash in such a way that the content could be maintained and kept up to date by internal staff members.
• Have a modern 'edgy' feel with a strong use of imagery that would appeal to the specified target audience.

Areeba consulted with Avanteos and introduced new technologies and methods in producing an innovative site that not only met, but exceeded Avanteos' requirements from a technical, functional, and aesthetic standpoint.
