Barber & Bunton Website

Barber & Bunton are a recruitment agency that focuses on the financial services industry. The original website, built by Areeba in 1999, allowed jobs to be listed on the website via an admin interface. Areeba were approached again in 2005 to implement their updated corporate identity and branding in a totally fresh website. Areeba were also asked to look at ways to improve efficiency in the existing job posting process.

Areeba's solution involved a redevelopment in ASP.NET and SQL Server that would be able to service Barber & Bunton's requirements for another five years. The solution streamlined job placement by allowing consultants to place jobs on the Barber & Bunton website and simply nominate if the job is also to appear on the SEEK and MyCareer websites. The website connects via web services to the SEEK and MyCareer sites to post jobs including job refreshes and updates.

The resulting design has exceeded expectations and provided a lift in profile to this already successful business. The efficiencies introduced into the administration will provide productivity benefits over the life of the project.
