CPA Australia Intranet

CPA Australia is the nation's largest professional body with more than 90,000 members in Australia and overseas, making them the premier professional organisation of Certified Practising Accountants.

Following the completion of various successful projects with CPA Australia, Areeba was approached to develop a comprehensive Intranet solution.

The Intranet was to enable CPA staff to streamline everyday work processes and to provide a central information repository.

Feature of the project included:

• a search facility to allow users to locate documents quickly and efficiently,
• integration with the member database,
• the ability to email/fax documents to members from the Intranet at the touch of a button,
• personalised content management facility to allow users to publish intranet content subject to approval by managerial/editorial staff,
• training and documentation on preparing documents and using the Intranet.
• The intranet was used extensively for several years before the technology was superseded with an in-house developed solution.
