Foster's Group 2005 Website

Foster's Group is a premium global multi-beverage company delivering a portfolio of beer, wine, spirits, cider and non-alcohol beverages enjoyed by millions of consumers around the world. Foster's conducts business across 150 companies and owns brands such as Foster's Lager, Wolf Blass, Beringer, Penfolds, Yellowglen, Lindemans, Rosemount, VB, Carlton, Cascade and Crown.

After successfully developing the Foster's Corporate website in 2001, Areeba was asked to redevelop the website to match the changing face of the company.

Areeba's objectives in the redevelopment process was to develop an information architecture that was intuitive and matched the diverse audience that visited the website. Areeba also proposed the RedDot Content Management System to allow staff to update the website easily, safely and without requiring technical knowledge.

The updated website was launched early July 2005 in conjunction with Foster's acquisition of Southcorp. The new website has been welcomed for its ease of use and access to information.

The RedDot CMS system provides a set of templates, workflow, navigational controls and version control allowing more succinct management of the site. What the user sees is a website with an accessible content structure including summary information appearing across the website, automatic breadcrumb, menu and sitemap management and content re-use. In summary, a website that is best-case for usability and design that is easy to manage and maintain.
