Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services

Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services approached Areeba to integrate an existing proprietary application within a readily accessible web browser interface. The intention was to build a cost-effective extranet system that could be accessed by the large client base of Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services.

Security was a major consideration with users required to authenticate using unique logins and secure passwords, allowing access only to information they are authorised to view.

Areeba's designers focussed on usability, visual appeal and an intuitive interface to make the system hassle-free and cut down on support and information-request calls.

The development required integration with existing back office systems and an understanding of the reporting and privacy responsibilities inherent in the data. To protect the data and provide scalability, the application was developed in ASP.NET with the underlying database in SQL Server 2000.

The resultant system has been smoothly rolled out to clients and has received excellent feedback.
