Kordon TMB Website

Bayer CropScience’s Kordon website showcases one of the industry's leading termite pest control products. As part of its internal restructure, Bayer CropScience elected to outsource maintenance, upgrades and enhancements of their existing Kordon website to Areeba.

The website is visited by a variety of users including Kordon installers, consumers and Bayer staff and had to be redesigned so that navigation and ease-of-use was suited to all audiences.

Kordon installers are able to log job details in order to register for a product guarantee as well as access product manuals, installation guides and order promotional stock.

Consumers, consisting of home and business owners, are able to find out more about the product and locate the nearest installers by postcode.

As part of the development Areeba updated the online payment gateway to allow secure credit-card payments. Efficiency of the site itself was also targeted with a systematic code review and implementation of technology updates, using ASP and SQL Server.

The resulting website follows the Corporate Style Guide and is fast, secure and stable. Areeba continues to add features and maintain the website so that it runs efficiently and effectively. In 2004 this included development of a Resource CD that delivered brochures, video and product information to Installers.
