Oriental Merchant Website

Oriental Merchant are a distribution business that is responsible for a large percentage of the condiments and products used in Asian cooking that can be found at the local supermarket. They also conduct training courses, cooking demonstrations and create recipes that maximise the potential of their range of products. Oriental Merchant approached Areeba to redevelop their existing website with a stronger emphasis on presentation of its products and recipes.

The resulting website has been designed around a products and recipes database that inspires Asian cooking and provides practical steps and information to allows visitors to find recipes, product and food group information and locate their nearest store that stocks Oriental Merchant products.

Management of the different recipes and products is via a web based administration system that allows the recipes and products to be edited by Oriental Merchant staff.

Recipes have been designed to be printable on an A4 page and the content is managed by a CMS that Areeba implemented.
